The main body is made from dark solid wood. Its form is intentionally lowered and flattened, refusing decorative curves and retaining only the necessary structural weight. Through a hand-rubbed coloring process, the color slowly sinks into the wood grain. It does not pursue uniformity, but accepts differences, because the act of supporting should never need to be perfect.

The Sg25 pure silver cross embedded on the front is not meant to emphasize faith or symbolism. It is more like a mark, a quiet reminder of order, direction, and the proper boundary between objects.

When rings, necklaces, or accessories are placed upon it, “Still Object · Display Base” does not take part in the expression. It simply allows the act of display to happen more quietly.

This is not a piece that emphasizes its own presence, but an object that makes room for the presence of others.
